Hope everyone is doing well. I'm bringing the family back to Chicago for a quick visit. Any of you guys wanna get together for dinner/drinks/BS on Wed eve, 10/21? It'd be good to see some of the homies again :bounce:

Sweet! Just let us know where you will be located and we can set something up for a get together. If you guys are hanging out for a while then you can ride a long for a wheeling trip the following weekend!
 
Well, we'll be staying in Joliet and departing on 10/24. Looks like I'll miss the ride, dang it. If I'd known, I could've made the departure for Sunday instead of Saturday. I might be able to make last minute changes, so we'll see.

I'm planning on renting a room in Portillo's and pretty much eat myself stupid :D I know you live way the hell far from Western suburbs so maybe I oughta plan a trip out that away. Maybe I'll just do the Portillo's circuit :hhmm: I miss Italian Beef and cheese fries...
 
Well, I guess I sort of forgot to tell you that the Mrs. and I moved out of the city up to Northbrook, but it's not too much farther north. The good thing is that there are Portillo's everywhere around here. The wifey is a little upset that I've been spending most of the time setting up the garage/shop instead of interior decorating....

I've got two head gaskets coming up in the near future? Sound like a fun vacation project? The Subaru's just started leaking a little along with the rear main, and then the cruiser starting to get up there in mileage and I figured I might as well tear into that one too over the winter.

Seriously, I'm up for a portillo's crawl so keep up posted with any more final plans.

Let's meet Wed night the 21st at Portillo's at 7pm.

The one in Willowbrook might be a little more centralized to everyone yet not too far from Joliet and it's just off of I-55. Or it can be any of the other locations.

I'm flying in on Wednesday getting in around 4 from Moscow - I might be a little tired but how can I pass up a chance to meet my buddy who got me into LCs? I might be the farthest distance person coming in for the gathering. But who won't do that for that very special friend - Ali??? hahaha
