First off this site is awesome! Now for the fun stuff, I just had my 84 BJ 60 checked out and there seems to be either a problem with my head gasket, head or (hopefully not!) the block. I have a super talented mechanic brother and a shop with everything, and was just wondering if anyone has any hints I can pass on about removing the head, where to get parts, etc. Thanks so much!

The going story is that the new OEM head is a different alloy than the original so I'd just get one from the local dealer and be done with it. Make sure that whoever does the head has the shop manual for the correct bolt sequence.
