Hello, my 2013 LC is having troubles with the combination meter assembly. The instrument gauge will flicker, turn off, reset the trip a / b automatically, and switch "DISP" by itself. It does not respond to ODOT/TRIP reset on the light control rheostat or the DISP button on the steering wheeling. I'm not seeing electrical issues anywhere else in the vehicle.

The following have been tried:

- new battery
- new alternator
- new rheostat

I tried to connect ODB2 and turn on some of the panel lights, such as ECO light, but the software returned a failure that it lost connection. Can anyone confirm whether this should be possible to do?

Also, I used ODB2 interface to display the resistance levels of the rheostat (dimmer) for the instrument panel. It ranged from 0-22%, and the final click moved it to 23%. Is this an appropriate range? I thought I read somewhere that it should range from 0-100. Can anyone confirm how this range behaves on a working unit?

In terms on next steps, I'm thinking of checking the ground points and if those all check out, replace the assembly. When replacing the assembly, do I need to re-program it or is it as simple as plugging it in?

For the ground points, I have not tested them yet. There area few of them related to the combination meter assembly, can anyone comment how difficult each of these are to access?

5) E2 - Instrument Panel Brace LH
6) K2 - Quarter Panel LH

And of course, if anyone has any other suggestions / recommendations, I'd love to hear them! Thanks.

As usual with any electrical issues it would be wise to have a look under both front door sill plastic trim boards for evidence of water, even opening the connectors in that area to look for corrosion.
