I have always wanted to do this trail, therefore if I can convince my wife (Lynn) to cut me free for a weekend of fun I will attend. I will however need directions to the start point or hook up with someone to caravan to the trail, being how this will be my first time. Who is bringing the portable heaters I wish to stay close to them.

Regards

Michael

Micheal...

Basically, Hwy 80 to Eagle Lakes turn off... take left under Fwy and continue around. Look for Eagle Lakes sign on right side, dirt road. Follow to staging area, trail head.

Suggest a good meeting spot is one off ramp up, Cisco Grove and the Chevron station. Get fuel, ice etc and meet up with folks. then back one exit to Eagle lakes.

I will probably also attend just so I can help Jeeper Ron get through the trail. :)

October? Ya, might be cold or it might be colder. also recommend at least 35s and a locker. Bring your straps, tools and parts. Be prepared.

Thanks Jim for coordinating!

I just confirmation that I'll have a copoilot on the Trip, I'll tell him to "Hang ON" Its a friend of Cupcake's and Mine that own's a cruiser but has moved to that Flat State of Florida, He's flying out to go 4x4 with us, he's wheeled the trail before in his Cruiser, Sprung under. deep water Fording, with water flowing through his cab and over his lap.

Not sure if I will get the time off work yet. Is an IFS mini with skidplates, sliders, a rear locker and 33" tires (but no crawl box yet) up to the task? (same truck I drove on the 06 Rubithon) If I have to ask does that mean no?

Douglasshuft, if you made the Rubicon you can do Fourdyce, rubicon is a # 10 trail, fourdyce is a # 7/#8 trail, be glad to have you along, Will be setting times and meeting place's soon, I'm leaving Friday at 10:am from San Rafael, going up to Sonoma meeting some more Members and then heading out toward Sacramento to pickup some one else, And put a long lost friendship back together. gunner

OK well see if ROO is ready how about you, I know your Better Half will be ready, Read my posting i have a Co Pilot this trip, maybe you know him " Shiner" let me know if were going to stop in Sacramento and pick you both up or are you going to meet us. Gunner

i have it loaded on the trailer now and will be headed back from co on sunday. i will give you a call on when i get home

I really would like to go to this run, however it looks as if I might have to pass on this one. Cruiser won't smog and work is hell at the moment. Therfore someone must hoist a beer in my honor, if for some chance I do not make it.

Thanks
