1998 Lexus LX470 for sale in Colorado. $8500/obo
Selling my project vehicle, wife wants to put the money towards a travel trailer to pull with the Tundra to simplify camping with little kids... Awesome truck, I don't have much time to work on it, would rather pass it along and let someone else give it the TLC it deserves to fully realize it's potential!
256k miles. I am the second owner, bought it at approx. 180k. Engine runs great, transmission is strong. New OEM rack and pinion, and rear driveshaft at approx. 230k miles. New front end seals, water pump and timing belt when I bought it, belt still looks good, no cracks. New Iridium spark plugs at approx. 230k miles. Australian offroad slotted and drilled front rotors. Slee Offroad AHC over ride (allows manual control of AHC, will hold it at approx. 2" lift from stock when activated). Slee differential drop. SPC adjustable upper control arms. 34" BFG all terrain KO2 Load Range E tires with less than 5k miles on them and full size matching spare. Safari Snorkel. K&N drop in air filter. Spider LED Halo headlights (Halogen Bulbs) and LED tail lights. Roof rack. Kryptek seat covers (front). New Cat and stainless exhaust installed from the before the Cat back in 2020. Right CV axle replaced with OEM at roughly 210k miles. Have a rebuild kit I will include for the left CV axle (no issues with it currently) 4.7 V8. Heated Seats.
Price includes the following spare parts/ upgrades (not installed): New in Box: Full Old Man Emu 2.5" Heavy Load AHC delete lift kit (includes torsion bars/ springs/ shocks, etc.), OEM front drive shaft. 1" body lift kit, spare timing belt, 1 gallon toyota AHC fluid, 3 K&N/ Fram toughgard oil filters, Chilton manual. (Roughly $1500 in upgrade/ spare parts - I am fine with keeping the driveshaft/ lift kit and removing this from the price if you don't want them)
Maintenance: Oil changed every 3-5k miles with Castrol high mileage synthetic blend. Filter changed at every oil change with K&N or Fram Toughgard. All work/ maintenance not done by me has been by Slee offroad or Stevenson Toyota. Transmission and differentials flushed and filled at approx. 225k miles. No leaks.
Full Disclosure/ Known Issues: Needs some TLC on the body and paint, I put a decent dent in the right rear quarter panel backing into an immovable object, started pulling the interior to get behind it to repair it, but 2 little kids = no time. Clearcoat is flaking off in some areas, a full repaint in the future would be a good idea. Some minor body rust at the dent and on the upper tailgate (mostly surface, again minor) Leather on the front seats needs to be replaced, have Kryptek neoprene seat covers installed. Sunroof is a bit finicky. Drivers side lock controller is getting a bit weak, so keyless entry is not programmed (Have 2 fobs, and 2 keys - replace this part and the Toyota dealer says the keyless can then be programmed), this also makes the drivers side window a bit finicky. Has a minor issue with cold starts if it sits for a while (again started trouble shooting it - cleaned throttle body, replaced MAF) where the throttle seems to stick for a couple minutes after start, then opens up, and doesn't have any issues unless it sits for a few more days. No 3rd row seats.
Will add some interior photos after I have a chance to detail it.
