Hey all- been looking to add a 200 to the mix...

Looks like 2008-12 was 'super white' then 2013-present is 'blizzard pearl'

I believe super white was a flat white? but what about blizzard pearl...does 'pearl' mean a 'pearlescent' or sparkly white i.e. not flat?

Thanks and happy easter ...to those who celebrate (hopefully not offending anyone in this day and age...)

Super white is a bright gloss white. 08-11 was the years for Super white. No metal flake in it. It's a regular bright gloss white. There were no 2012s in the US spec they skipped from 2011 model to the 2013 here in the US.

Blizzard pearl white is a metallic white. Blizzard Pearl White is on 13-18 models.

I am personally very partial to the classic Super White.

For me the way the metallic white tends to change color depending on the lighting its under is a major turn off for me. IE. at sundown the metal flake picks up the red-orange sky and looks sort of beige in color. Under direct bright sunlight it can almost look silver. etc.

Even though I am huge fan of White, my 2018 LC is Silver, because I really can't stand the way the blizzard pearl changes colors.

I just went from a Super White '11 to a Blizzard Pearl '15. As reported, the Super White is a single-stage, plain white, no metallic and no clear. Blizzard Pearl has a metallic flake to it, and a clear coat. Looks really thick. I actually like it better, I can't wait for it to get warm enough to get out my detailing stuff and give it a polish.

I have a ‘99 and a ‘10 with the non-metallic white. Both paint jobs still look great with very little fuss. The other plus is that super white is easy to match if you have to repaint parts of your car...I know this first hand unfortunately ;)

We have a Blizzard Pearl 2016 LC. I prefer the metallic and pearl colors due to it always looking different, it gives it more character. Blizzard Pearl also stands out more in a parking lot. My personal opinion is that the flat white or super white looks like a work van color. Too plain.
