Ok guys I have a small problem. When my Cruiser is cold it hesitates and has no power, the other day and in one previous occassion it backfired three times out of the right bank when I gave it some gas when it was cold.
And then the second problem, when it is hot and I am stuck in the infamous Atlanta traffic, it gets running rough and then it will cut off, it always starts back up, but I want to figure out what it is doing.
I have recently done the 60k service on it, I did a fluid exchange on all fluids, I replaced the PCV, fuel filter, and spark plugs. On the plugs this is what I noticed, there were about four of them that had combustion damage on the outside of the plug, like the seal around the ceramic had failed, three were pretty much normal and the last was white like a lean condition, this plug is on the right bank.
The wagon also does not have a smooth delivery of power under heavy acceleration, it seems to pulse, both before and after the 60k service. Any ideas on possible culprits? I have used a diagnostic scanner on it to montior it while it was cold and no codes or specs were out of the service manual metrics. Anyone have any ideas?
