im sure it can be done.... time to bust out the pencil, paper, tape measure.

It has been done.... Lance Williams used to have a bobed 55 with the complete(coils and arms) FJ80 suspension up front. The truck was pretty cool but Lance cut it up about 18 months ago maybe some of the "oldtimers" will have some photos.

I did it on a 40. If I were to do it again I would use the entire 80 frame under a pig and just take 6" out of the middle.

There are clearance issues using stock 80 spring buckets and 40 backspacing at full flex.
