It'll cost dearly up front but I've read and heard the ride is really great.

Don't make me want them...tell me they are garbage or something haha. Those struts look mean.

Are the 80 and 60 frame similar apart from the different suspension setups? I imagine they are...a friend of mine has an 80...i might just go measure his out and see where the radius arms meet the frame and then fab up some arms and basically copy the 80 suspension with custom rods and coilovers. Seems like a fairly simple way of doing things. I'll let you know if I make any progress this weekend. Hold me to that or I never will do anything

hah, i had no idea I wanted them until I heard of them also.

the 80 frame is considered to be superior due to it being fully boxed and maybe taller/wider cross-sectional wise.
60 is 2"wider in the front between frame rails, 2" narrower btw rails in the rear, compared to fj80 frame. (from what I remember reading from cam's thread)

a couple 100series axle swaps that use the ORIs and custom radius arm links like you're suggesting. I'll be using the stock 80 setup.

Project 180 SAS

the axle swap begins around page 5.

Good luck, hope to see some progress this weekend!

No idea how I missed this thread but if you're still looking at doing coilovers and radius arms happy to help with any advice.

Mine keeps up with most cars through the twisties and still gets it done off-road. Nowhere near as much flex as a 3 link or probably even an SOA but it's a good all round package.
