I have a 4" lift kit from Dominion and when suspension fully extended especially rear, coil spring pops out. What should I used to solve this. Saw coming limiting straps from Trail Gear which looks like it would possibly work by limiting travel or droop. Has anyone had experience with this?

You can either use limiting straps or better still put the appropriate length shocks in.... They shouldn't pop out if the kit is correctly made / designed.

Coils should still be retained at full droop. Coils don't have the appropriate free height for shock length
Was trying to say that I didn't think it was a good idea to use shocks as limits for droop or compression?
Leaf springs naturally limit droop yeah?
If a coil is not secured to the base/top then something else would need to limit droop/compression?
My rear 5 link coils if I don't secure them will drop far enough to let the coils fall out. I had to use a limit strap to prevent droop beyond shock length, bump stop for compression. Maybe I should have tried a way of securing the coils at top and bottom.

The factory setup in the coil sprung Prados Lj* Kzj* ... the coils are retained by the shocks being the correct length. And not allowing the suspension droop to be excessive. Fully compressed the bump stops protect the shocks from being damaged. Again as long as the shock free length and compressed length have been sized appropriately.

I secured my rear coils top & bottom & it has worked fine. Drilled the bottom perch & u-bolted the spring on, at the top I have a piece of ~5x40mm flat steel across the width of the spring under the top loop, bolted up to another bit of flat over the top of the top perch. They were only barely coming loose at full droop though. The proper way to do it is with a limiting strap.

Cheers
Clint

My antiquated MGB has limit straps but only for the rear leafs.

Thanks all. Helpful info. Does anyone have pics of their setup........leaning toward getting limiting straps ftom Trail Gear.
