I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on a brand of coil spacer and the amount of spacing in the front versus the rear?

Ive seen some threads saying 50mm in the front with 10mm in the rear to bring up the rake on the front end but didn’t have a great sense of it.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Toyota makes a spacer for the front coils. Raises about an inch. Toyota part number 43136-60020

If you want to raise more than the 1” front spacer, you’re better off to do a proper suspension lift with new springs all around.

Thanks. Yeah, didn’t plan to try any more than an inch.
I’ve seen mixed reviews on spacers, curious as to your take on them?

Once you get outside of small spacers you start to get outside of the optimal travel range of the stock shocks, especially in the rear (since the spacer goes "inside" of the shock's travel, versus above like the front. If you're buying longer shocks to compensate, then you might as well spring for the ~$250 for a pair of new springs IMO. The large ~2" front spacers are popular with the Tundra, which has a very similar front suspension architecture to the cruiser, but there are also reports of very poor ride and even some shock failures. Also, there are additional performance benefits or load carrying improvements to be had with new springs and shocks. Finally, depending on how many miles are on your stock suspension, it may be time for a refresh anyway.
