I've finally decided to sell my rig and change course in the off road direction. I've had this beast for 8 years and have done pretty much everything I can to it. I baselined it when I got it, replaced hoses, belts, phh, distributor cap, fluids, battery, starter, and alternator. Next, i lifted it doing the Icon 2.5 remote resivoir suspension on all four corners (non adjustable), and the DeltaVS kit (Delta Vehicle Systems - FJ/FZJ80/LX450 DVS+ICON "Full Kit" - https://www.deltavs.com/all-products/fj-fzj80-dvs-icon-full-kit), Tom Woods double cardan drive shaft, marlin crawler tie rods/steering components, 35 inch Maxxis Creepy Crawlers, and Black Rhino Warlord rims.

It has 204,4xx miles on it. Triple locked, no leaks of any kind, and starts right up. No rust on frame.

The only issues are cosmetic. The fender flares and running boards were taken off because I had ideas of painting it or wrapping it. The paint/clear coat is bad like most of them, and there is some surface rust on the d/s door from the previous owner not fixing it properly. It also has some dings on the bumpers and the brackets are pushed in a little bit from a bad spotter. My body shop guy quoted me $2,300 to fix all of these issues. Unfortunately, the running boards and fenders were lost in a garage fire in 2020 (State Farm refused to reimburse me). The little steering wheel box thing is also off.

The interior is a 7/10 imo. No main issues other than the d/s seat belt is kinda getting raggitty though still works fine.

All told, it's a freaking beast that goes anywhere. It runs great (road noise from the meats) and hasn't let me down. I got a RZR to offroad in, so that is my new direction. I want to buy a 40 so that is my next adventure in a few years. No trades.

Asking $12,000k

Nice rig.
I’m not a buyer, but have a question if you don’t mind.
How you like them tires? Want to get a new set and don’t like the road manners of the trepadors so looking at this ones instead. My rig is 80% off road 20% pavement.

I would say that they will probably be a little similar to the Treps. They're a little noisy and you know they're there, but offroad....bro. They're unstoppable.

$11,500? Seriously. What is this worth?

Maybe there’s just not a lot of potential buyers in Wyoming? That’s one badass 80 and the price is very fair. No rust triple locked with all that suspension work, new wheels and tires.

I bet you got more in just parts costs in this build. None of those parts are cheap. Good luck man.

Yeah that's the problem. There's only one other 80 in my town. Most people don't know what i have. Thanks for the kind words!

I would buy it tomorrow if I could sell my GX fast enough… and I’m in SoCal. Road trip!
