Cucamonga but don't want to be.
This has been a slow but steady journey to perfect the best fully functional Off Road Trailer on the American market. The pursuit of perfection, of course, is an endless endeavor and requires a lot of trial (the fun part) and error. Input from customers and friends is a most valuable tool.

Here is a snippet from the Lucas Oil Off Road Expo in Pomona October 5-6, 2013

I build my trailers to suit my myself. What they do not come with are butter and guns, water, bedding and clothes.

If there are components that you do not need right off, they can be subtracted and picked up at a later time. If you already have a generator, or solar, then you don't to spend $486.00 for the Zamp Solar system. If you don't want the vestibule and footprint right away, subtract some more. If you don't need a gray water tank that will save you some more. If you have your own tires and rims, bring them and cut the price a little more.

Another way that I keep the cost down is by producing as much in house as possible. We have 12 sewing machines, sheet metal and fabrication abilities and we also assemble our own 12 Volt LED lamps and include these items and others, such as the battery box, at a wholesale price - complete package deal. We paint our trailers in house with color matching no extra charge if the customer has the paint code.

What I cannot compromise on cost is with the honey-comb aluminum panels that make up the floor, side walls of the box and the top deck/sleeping platforms. The floor weighs about 25% of a typical plywood floor.

Excellent! I appreciate your approach. Will keep you in mind a couple years from now.

Good looking trailers Mitch, they are well worth the money, time and looks. Nice job at the show.

Base Camp

After doing much research and evaluating different products I decided to have Mitch build me a Base Camp. The trailer will feature 37" wheels and tires to match those on my 2011 Rubicon Unlimited as well as color match it's silver color. Mitch and his team have been working tirelessly to finish the trailer and I expect delivery soon! I will post many pictures once I take delivery. Some notes of Mitch's ability to personalize his trailer's; on my model he customized a streched tongue with a motorcycle rail on it, a two inch reciever in the rear to except an additional motorcycle rail, two 5lb. propane tanks, a rack system on top of the trailer to hold a small quad, an outside charged hose bib to provide water to feed my pressure washer and a 50 gallon fresh water tank. Some have said this is like putting 20lbs. in a 5lb. bag...if anyone can make it happen, Mitch and his team at Guasti Trailer can get it done. Keep an eye out for future posts...
