Coal Mine weather report

In case you haven't heard, there is a summer polar vortex coming late next week just in time for Coal Mine. Couldn't be a better situation. Totally dry, unseasonably cold air is coming down from Canada. N Va temps will be highs in the mid 80's and lows in the 60's. East buttcrack Pennsylvania will 10 degrees less in the hills. Plan on October type of weather mid July, and bring a warmer sleeping bag than you might think.

There's the possibility of some rain Fri and Sat, so bring some rain pants and jacket. It will be in the mid 70's though, so not too much sweating. Yay!

After last years heat and humidity this is a blessing. Calling for rain through mid- Tuesday, then drying out quickly. Should make the wetter parts of the park a lot of fun! Shmukster

I agree should be nice weather indeed as long as we don't get a storm like 5 years ago. I can handle some rain but that was a brutal thunder storm!! Right after the raffle.
