Who is going to the CMCC this year? It is only 3 weeks away.

If you have never made it to the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic you really should try. The event takes place in three weeks and is definitely the largest LC wheeling event near our area. If you have hesitated going wheeling because you have never been or because you did not want to be the only stock truck then this is the event for you. There will be other first time wheelers and group rides for all driver levels.

I am heading up the 270 to 15 route Wednesday afternoon if anyone wants to caravan. It takes me just under 3 hours with one gas stop. Wheeling days will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for those with trailers or the brave.

YES

I am in. already took the time off from work. Now I need to figure out if we are leaving Wed night or thursday morning. :bounce:

John, the Gotham website lists wheeling days as 7/10-12, Thursday-Saturday. Based on that, I'll be running up Wednesday afternoon, same route.

I'm hoping to go but it depends on how other commitments work out.

If you're worried about it being hot at CMCC, check out the average temperatures for Tremont, PA and you'll find the highs are about 80 which is great wheelin' weather.

Thanks Dan, I could not remember if there was wheeling on Thursday or not. I changed my original post.

Hmmm, Dave, sorry, but that sounds like a cop out. I feel confident that you will enjoy yourself on the easy green trails and maybe even low blues. Your best bet would be, in my opinion, to get behind Gary's line (look for his orange pig) and enjoy the group.

Dan, I really do have plans for that weekend. I swear! My wife is taking me to Baltimore for a Wine Expo of some sort. Besides, it couldn't be any hotter than it was on June 7. I need bigger tires too.

I'm going.

Will be heading up on Wednesday afternoon sometime. Maybe I will fly past Dan and John. :D

Dave,

Why do a Wine Expo, when the Beer Expo at CMCC is so much better. Priorities Man Priories :)

Your truck would do fine at CMCC, on the green and low blues, with the tires that you have. You really need to go. There are hotels near by if you don't want to camp.

Wine expo? Is that another term for a Gay Pride meeting?

Im coming wednesday afternoon with my brother and two other people. see u in a couple of weeks.
PS-ec4rj was preety nice this year the weather and the beer was really good. Tom from CT.

Man, you really disappoint me, Dave. You'd rather thrust up the pinky sipping wine than partake in the goodness that is wheeling with your fellow cruiserheads. I'm feeling a massive dose of :princess::princess::princess::princess::princess::princess::princess: coming on.

Oh the humanity.

Dan - you do not drink, so you cannot in good conscience comment. ;)

Ah, but I do enjoy an occasional bacchareal delight. No beer though. And would gladly trade that off for good times on the trail.

I know you all will be shocked , but I'm also out. Again.

I got a better excuse than Dave, though. I'll be on vacation in Greece. :flipoff2:

Nice. Enjoy, and you can still look forward to Pig Run and Fall Crawl. We really need to plan a yearly club run to Rausch also.
