OK dudes here it is tenatively.

Meet on Thursday the 23rd at SHEETZ at the intersection of Rt. 15 and Interstate 66 between 12:00 and 12:30. We will depart at 12:30 for Paragon. The route we will be taking will be more scenic than nothing but interstate. This allows for a chance to see more of rural America as well as provide some level of comfort for some rigs with lower gears. :D Planning on staying at the Red Ridge Campground and that will be the destination for the evening. Looking at 4 to 5 hours tenative road time.

Would like to get as many Toy's (or others) going from the area involved in the convoy as possible. :D Alot more fun to travel with others and provide support if needed. We will monitor CB channel 4 for any interested. Also if you are in the route pattern we will be traveling which will be up 15 to Harrisburg please chime in and we can attempt to connect en route. Should be a blast.

GIT ER DUN!!!!!

:bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2:

If anyone needs further clarification please feel free to ask questions in this thread or PM me if needed. :grinpimp:

I'm in!

I will be there... meet you at the Sheetz at 12:00pm on the 23rd. Thanks for organizing this. The ride up Rt. 15 is the best way to go, and you're right, it's scenic. It beats interstate 95.

Count me in!!!! It will be pretty cool having a bunch of cruisers heading up together. See you guys then

Tony

I am taking 77 to 81. Is this anywhere near where you are meeting? I ahve never driven this arear before, usually I just take 95 north.

David I'll try and call your shop this week and get your particulars and hopefully get you hooked in with the VA contingent. We would be honored to have the Foreign Minister of the White Trash travel with us.

I'll link up with you guys but not until Harrisburg. I'll work out the details with 76FJ40. By the way where are you 76FJ40 ?

See you all on the road !!

Hey Burl just saw your sig line. The 62 is gonna look a little different this year, huh? :)

Jamie,

I'm in. See you guys there, hopefully i'll be sporty a new arb bumper if someone can get one within the next few days.

Thanks.

I'm here Burl. The group just continues to grow which is a good thing. I can see a long line of Cruisers headed north on 15 ...

Ya Tom , the 62 as had some changes since last year hope to run alittle harder stuff this year. Are you being the 45 this year ?

It's about time Bob and it sounds great to have a big convoy of cruisers heading up. I'll call you this Saturday if that's good for you or Tuesday if I can get a hold of you at work.

Can't wait,
Burl

Just out of curiosity, how heavy (i.e. how much crap) is everyone rolling with to this event. I was thinking of packing the kitchen sink but it won't fit. In seriousness though how much gear is everyong taking in regard to repair, food, cooking, etc...... Just curious and if the need arises I will probably have some extra room in the 80 if needed.

I am defintitely in for hooking up with the convoy. I'll probably catch you all in Frderick MD. Reckon we can pick a place as we get closer.

Love it. :D

The line just keeps getting longer and longer. :D

The more cruisers the more better. :bounce:

I'm interested in joining in at Frederick. I just have to figure out how to get out of work on Thursday.

Jamie,

I pack lighter for CMCC than for GSMTR - Paragon is closer to civilization (not necessarily a good thing), it's closer to home, and it's only a couple of days of wheeling. Red Ridge also has showers and a small store and there's gas by Paragon so no need to pack heavy.

Curran its called getting sick. :D

OK fella's after consulting with some other members of the convoy we would truly like to hook up with as many people as possible en route but we also want to do this in an expediant fashion. As previously mentioned we will be monitoring CB channel 4 while en route and also be carrying cell phones. If you use mapquest and plot our course leaving from the intersection of RT 15 and Interstate 66 in VA you can approx. what time we will be travelling through your region. Feel free to pm me for cell phone info and I will be happy to give it to you and use it and CB to rendevouz while not holding up the train. As previously mentioned we will pull out at 12:30 sharp with my 80 bringing up the rear. Look for IH8MUD  sticker on the rear bumper. Hope to pick everyone up along the way, don't worry we'll let a 40 lead.

"How slow can you go?"
