When I spoke with Robbie Antonsen(son?) on Sunday, they were working the trail assignments then. Maybe emails out by this weekend:hhmm:?

michael, I may be up for your approach depending on my trail assignments.

Simon, just FYI, the only trail from my list that I actually know is Golden Spike.

I've put ?? to Hotel Rock because as I understand it it's southwest of Blanding, involves rockcrawling (aka slow going), and I'm not sure how compatible that would be to connect to the Beef Basin way to come out at Elephant Hill; also, the latter part is 63 miles by itself starting at UT275 to the trailhead of the Elephant Hill trail in the park. Might not be a good idea to drive all that in one day.

Flat Iron Mesa in Moab has the issue that there's a spot at a canyon's edge that might not be compatible with fullsize Chevy width, so it's possible that I might have to turn around. I've heard conflicting reports. Also, there's a gazilion roads back there, so it'll be Wells book and GPS navigation.

Dome Plateau is north of the Colorado River and east of Arches NP - looks awesome when you come in on Hwy. 128 from the north, but I've never been up there. But I think some of the easy trails there are listed in the Wells book?

After further review, Hotel Rock looks to be incompatible with doing the Beef Basin trek into Canyonlands/Needles on the same day.

I agree, it would be a very long day anyways.

I'm happy with my trail assignments!

Thurs; Golden Spike, Fri; Hells Revenge Sat; Elephant Hill.

Found out my assignments yesterday. Originally they had me on Golden Spike twice. Now it's:

Thurs. Cliffhanger with the FJC Trail Team
Fri. Fins n Things
Sat. Golden Spike

My CM trails are Poison Spider - Fins - Moab Rim
Having run P/S and Fins several times, I'm :meh: , and I'm not sure I want to run Moab Rim without a spotter I know well.

I'm thinking I might pretend to run Poison Spider on Thursday, and then take a left turn...

I still don't have my trail asignments...:frown:

I've got my assignments.

Golden Spike, Cliff Hanger, Elephant Hill.

Still don't know what all I am going to do getting there or when I am leaving.

elephant hill, cliff hanger, wipe out hill

mrs semlin is going to love the last two names :D

Room in Blanding is booked for two nights....I plan on leaving on the 26th with Tools and whoever else is leaving that day.....:)

I feel better now, Drew - I thought they just forgot me...

Still waiting. Time is getting short.

I have not received mine either...I emailed them a few days ago and have received no response.....they aren't making our sliders............are they?:)

We are booked in the Four Corners Inn for Blanding, the Navajo Trail National 9 Inn for Monticello and the Bowen Motel in Moab. Talked to all of them today and they are getting booked up, so if you haven't made reservations it's time!

Cut them a break, it's a big job being done by club members, volunteers. I heard that they are hoping to have all of them out by the weekend.

We'll see you all in Blanding. Made reservations for 2 nights & 1 night in Monticello. Looking forward to meeting some new folks!

Got mine right after Drew - as a matter of fact, the email was addressed to him. FJ Cliff Hanger run Thurs; Hell's (oh yeah) Fri; Fins Sat (thinking of a wildcat alternate - Golden Spike?)
