I need to replace my throw out bearing and while I'm in there replace the clutch. My question is this. Best clutch option, stock, centerforce, extreme, etc? I'm running stock 2f with 35's, stock gears(for now) but am putting in 4.88's.

centerforce extreme..... Offers Outstanding Holding Capacity And Durability........

Stock clutch is tough and durable. I drove a 60 with a centerforce and found the pedal force required to operate it annoying.

just put a stock cluth back in mine.

love it.

i have 35's and 4.88's .

my last clutch lasted 203000.

guy's in the club have run centers and found the same problem

tough clutch pedal.

I just replaced mine through carquest. It was a Luk I think. But pretty much stock. Carquest has good parts and it works great. Last time that I checked on ebay, there was a dude that was selling Aisin cluches for way cheaper than the dealership. Search Aisin on ebay and I think that you'll find it. If he's a good seller and it's legit I'd do that.

My last clutch was from Man-a-fre. The kit used Koyo bearings and had a Asco clutch. They claim that Asco (not Aisin) is the OEM maker of toyota clutches. Anyhow, it's worked great for me.

First one lasted 200K and so I just used stock as well.

I've heard great things about the Centerforce, but those weights look like the clamping force increases at high RPM, and my 2F doesn't see anything over 2600 RPM, so.....

Stock - I just ordered mine from CruiserDan.

Pressure Plate
Clutch Disc
Throwout B
Pilot B
Rear Main Seal

Oil Pan Gasket
and Diff. Thrust Washers

Total was 330.30 + 19.00 for shipping

The last two items aren't required for the clutch but I needed them.
