I wanted to rebuild my booster while replacing all the clutch hydraulics. I was able to find new aisin master and slave on Amazon and Ebay very cheaply, but not the booster. The new booster part number is 31440-60050 and the kit is 04318-60030 and are not available from Toyota in Japan or anywhere else that I could find. Aftermarket I found to be impossible. After talking with local shops, I ended up driving up to Upland (east of Los Angeles) to Karps Power Brake (specialists in brake booster rebuilds) and talking with Jeff. He rebuilt it and shipped it back. He charged $135 plus freight.

That's great! I rebuilt mine with a Toyota kit a few months ago, and I think the kit alone cost more than that.

I bought the rebuilt kit from Mega Zip last year and had a local shop do the rebuild. Is the rebuild kit no longer available?

Mega Zip does show to have it. $151.61. Thanks for the tip, I will check them in the future!

My clutch master cylinder /booster is leaking and I want to rebuild it. Which rebuild kit did you actually end up getting?
Thanks
J

I did not buy a kit. I took mine to the rebuild shop.

Yup just reread that
Oh well i’ll See if there’s a good shop in Tampa FL that can help me out with my booster. Might just buy a rebuild kit for the master and slave. Hope my clutch doesn’t fail before I get it done!
Thanks
J

Anyone find a rebuild kit available? I've looked at all the usual suspects, but there doesn't seem to be any available. If not, I'll try the contact above to get it rebuilt by a shop.

X2 about the shop in Chino.
