I have a clunk/clicking, more when turning the steering vs going over bumps, and my mechanic thinks it's the axle making that noise.

WOW! What t-bars are you running?
Was your noise a single or double “pop” sound in slow turns and when accelerating or braking? If so, did you weld the crack and correct it? If you welded and fixed, did you do it with torsion bar installed on the vehicle?Old Man Emu. Much rather this weld break than to crack a lower control arm.. but still blows my mind that the weld failed
Also seems my picture isn't entirely focused on the crack. Find the welded spot on the bottom left of the anchor arm and there's a hairline crack going all the way through it.
Might just buy a new anchor arm... But I really really really don't wanna reindex my TB lol
Also, can you draw an arrow in the photo to point to the hairline crack?Old Man Emu. Much rather this weld break than to crack a lower control arm.. but still blows my mind that the weld failed
