Have an annoying clunk coming from the drivers rear, started to notice it shortly after the suspension install. Upon inspection it appeared the swaybar endlinks were now shot so replaced them to with a set of longer Mstudt endlinks. Other three corners of the truck are significantly quieter (suspension lift was final straw for all endlinks) but the drivers rear clunk is still there and driving me mad...

Any other thoughts or suggestions as to what it may be? Almost sounds like a blown shock clunking around from my track car days but perhaps that is unlikely given that the suspension was brand new.

Check to see if the shock is contacting anything that it shouldn't be. There have been some that have experienced this with the FCPs. Also check that top mount is fully tightened. I had a loose one on my 3rd gen 4runner once that drove me nuts for a few weeks.

There was a little contact between the plastic cover which we cut and also appeared to be a bit of contact from the shock itself under compression so we spaced it out slightly with a washer. Also retorqued everything. Unfortunately noise is still there, drives me insane... Gonna throw a borla on next week so that should help mask it!

Bad sway bar bushings can cause nasty clunks. How are yours?

@mopes Figure anything out?
I seem to have the same issue. I installed my foam cells awhile ago, so I can't say that it is related. I just switched springs, but the metal ping is still there when turning right into a driveway or similar with some slight articulation.

I had the same thing (metallic click/clunk noise when the rear suspension articulated a specific way). Both rear sway bar bolts were loose, one extremely so. Check those (the 19mm bolt/nut pairs).
