Club day run June (3 Viewers)

Hi folks, I am planning a Big Bear area day run for Saturday 6/14 . The meeting location will be Green Valley Lake General Store AlexLuv2Cook Market · Green Valley Lake, California - https://maps.app.goo.gl/iJBcdUDG9GT7kaNv8. 9am, depart 930am for trail forest road 2n13. Which will take us on an easy scenic run, if accessible/open we will make a short side trip up to "Butler Peak" fire Lookout tower. We will continue on and connect with Trail Forest Road 3n14. At this point we will have several options available to continue our day trip. For example we can connect with trail 3n12 , which will eventually connect with 3n16. Dependent on time of day at this point we can consider more trail's to run. Fuel up prior to arriving at Green Valley Lake. There are several fueling stations along the way before the turnoff for Green Valley Lake.
Any questions you can contact me directly, please respond directly to this thread if interested in this event. This event is subject/change & Trail access & trail conditions/restrictions. I will contact the local ranger station in advance of the event to verify our planned Forest roads.

Hi folks, there hasn't been any activity regarding this day run event 6/14 . The event is roughly 2 weeks away now. If anybody is interested please reply only to the op . I have spoken at length with the ranger station and everything is accessible that we plan to run. The summer like weather should be very comfortable and enjoyable for a nice easy day in the National Forest. And if in fact the historic "Butler Peak" fire lookout is open to the public it will be a great side trip to go up and explore. I have been up there twice before and it is very interesting and the views are breathtaking up in the tower. If any questions you can contact me directly. I am aware that this is also Father's Day weekend, Father's Day is traditionally on Sunday though.
