My clock and temperature display went out on my ‘16. This happened just a day or so before the original battery abruptly died (now replaced with an Optima).

Has this happened to anyone else? A fuse? If so, where?

Thanks!

Hopefully it's something easy. I had issues with both my 2016 four years ago and my 2018 last month where the clock/temperature display became garbled. Maybe it's bad luck, but I had to replace the entire display assembly on both as the clock/temp display is part of the head unit. Makes me wonder if there's a broader issue as I'm two for two on display replacement. Given that your display is just off, hopefully it's a fuse or a software update (dealership mentioned that might fix my last one). Attached is a picture of my 2018 display that was replaced last month. My 2016 was replaced under warranty and my 2018 was a few months out of comprehensive warranty. But luckily, my dealership got Toyota to cover it. The part number on my 2016 was 86110-60510. The price is stupid expensive. Hopefully, you don't have to go that route.

A quick look at the manual shows a few fuse locations that mention "clock". I would start there.

Looked at my print manual for my ‘16. Didn’t see anything with that amount of detail describing fuses. And, getting to those driver and passenger fuse boxes is a chore, especially if you are farsighted (even with glasses)!!

Yeah, the manual stinks for fuse locations. I remember on my 14 they were all labeled out like this but they stopped doing that in the 16+. I found these diagrams online.
