Hey guys. I had an airbag light pop on along with a grinding when I turned so I figured it was the clockspring. Replaced it and the grinding stopped and the airbag light went out.....for about 3 weeks. The part was an OEM part so I took it back to toyota and they gave me another one. Same thing happened. It was fixed for about a month then came back on. Tried to take that one back and the dealer gave me some issues and wouldnt replace under warranty unless I had them install it. Instead of buying a new OEM I went ahead and ordered a $30 one from Amazon. Same thing happened.

Long story short, what could be causing the constant airbag light/clock spring issues?

When I replaced my clock spring I recall doing some googling and reading about a lot of bad clock springs, maybe in the Indian market. What exactly was the problem with the failed clock spring when you removed it? Mine was obviously bad with the insulation stripped from the wire and the wires touching. Mine also took out the horn and cruise control when it failed. Interestingly, when I replaced my clock spring, the airbag light did not go out upon replacement. I had to use a scanner to turn it off. Have you tried putting a scanner on it and turning off the airbag light?
