Hello all,

There is a noticeable creaking/clicking ONLY when the tire is fully locked to the left. Suspension feels sloppy, but that’s probably because most parts are original from 15+ years ago. Anyways, I think the noise comes from the front.

Yesterday I rebooted the front passenger Cv axle with All-Pro boots. I noticed that the sway bar end bushings was cracked and lower control ball joint has a lot of play. Could be that idk, I’m open to suggestions. Noise is still present.

I attached a link to a YouTube video I just made, so you can hear it.

Since it clicks pretty consistently compared to distance, it has to be something spinning so probably the CV. If not its something around it/the wheel thats hitting. Have you looked to see if the new CV boot clamps hit anything on lock?

The noise was there before I replaced the Cv boots. They weren’t cracked but I figured it was preventive maintenance or at least before an existing problem got worse. The inner fender liner looks like it’s been rubbed off a bit, but I’ve had these tires since july. The issue began 2 months ago

I feel like a dumb***. It IS the fender liner. I didn’t think it was possible because the driver side is fine, but the liner is just a TAD BIT closer to the tire on the passenger side and hence why the sound is only on that side.

Thank you, I was so focused on the suspension needing to be revamped that I ignored the obvious
