What type of things do I need to move before I put in the 350? I am using stock manifolds. I thought that I may move the brake line from inside the frame on the drivers side.

I have manual steering and that box looks like it will be in the way. Should I go ahead and get a PS box and move it?

What about the heater core hoses? Are they in the way? Is there anything else I should move?

I'll be cutting the 2F mounts off, what about the 3 spd mounts? Should I use those again? I think I will try since the clutch slave bolts to the mount.

I will have a week or so to dedicate to this swap. I can't wait to drive the Pig.

I would go ahead and pull the front clip to give way to more room and easy access to the area you will be working. It normally doesnt take to long to unbolt everything (minus some rusted bolts). But after it is off you can replace any broken bolts and clean up and paint the fenderwells, etc.

Are you going to be using the toyota transmission/tcase? The FJ55 uses the bellhousing as a way to anchor the transmission and rear of the engine.

Are you going to use the three speed? My 69 had that set up and it was ok, but I have a 4 speed and an adapter (me thinks its for a chevy, I'll find out for sure that you can have for cheap. I'll be headed up your way next sunday.

I will be using the SM465/NP205 combo from the Chevy K20 that is donating it's life. The chev has been in the family since '82 and I feel bad about selling it outright. I have this Pig sitting here that I bought over a year ago and I have the 350 for it, but I needed a lot of little things that I just didn't have money for. Now, the Chevy will live on and I will get to drive the Pig!

Thanks minipigg. I am going to give the Pig a proper blue/white painting too. I'll take that stuff off.
