thats a nice wagon.......and it happens to be in WA :)

8K..........sweet :) I wonder what that makes my blue 86 fj60 with 105,000 miles! worth? same if not better condition, I am the 3rd owner, local Gig Harbor rig all its life. OME suspension, ARB rear locker, ARB bumper 10k Warn, rebuilt carb, NO leaks(all seals replaced) front end gone thru, DBA rotors, dual batts, 200 amp Mean Green, Spector seat covers(seats have NEVER been sat on, covered in plastic sense new) 33x10.5s, new rad, new water pump, new fan clutch, all new hoses, tune up, new OEM clutch, master and slave, new oil pan gasket. New Eclispe CD, speakers, Tuffy console, AC blows 20deg ICE, New rear wheel bearings. All work was done because I am anal about it......and want it perfect. HAve all the stock parts, nothing has been cut up, also have all new cargo panels as the ones in it are cut for speakers(PO). Paint is great but one spot on the hood is fading.......the original owner had his 2nd battery blow up so that part of the hood was repainted I suspect. No dents. ALso has LoJack and Early Warning. Oh all new battery and ground cables. No expense spared. Drive PERFECT it needs NOTHING.

really what would you pay for it? kinda curious

Sorry if this isn't the place for this. Not affiliated with the seller... just thought this was a gorgeous wagon.

With all due respect, there is nothing rare about an FJ60.

I hate when people say stuff like that.

LP's 40 series wagon is RARE!

I tell ya, they did an excellent job selling this rig. They had it professionaly detailed for the photos, the photos are plentiful but not specific (anyone notice the small dent in the left rear pillar just above the vent? Or the one in the left front fender below the carb fan vent?) - it's a sweet truck, but they're really selling it. Looks like it'll go for 8K which is an excellent price. Wonder what they would have gotten if they'd done an average ebay ad? (my guess is if they hadn't done the extra work, they'd have gotten around 5k for it - maybe a little more.)

Pimp, if you set up an ad like that with great photos and detailed discription, you'd probably get abou 14k for yours...

(in fact, I'm saving this ad and will copy it if I ever sell mine)

true that :)

Pimp... yours is kickass, for sure. I love that blue... used to hate it, but it has really grown on me.

Swank... yep. They are REALLY pushing it. But it is working. The engine looks great.

I wasn't wild about the blue either, but I really like it now.

yep the one on Ebay is detailed to the max...............look at all that crap on the engine and hoses.......I HATE that crap.

found mine in the back lot of the dealer, just traded in and dirty...........just the way I like em.

Yeah I was thinkin 14kish on mine. NO RUST.....ZERO ZIP NADA :)

i really dig the blue also. it goes well with the black (wheels, arb bumper) and gray (interior)

Yeah, the engine in the ebay rig does look "wet."

I found one here in the twin cities with a bit of rust on the frame but other than that It has a perfect body and mechanicals. Had the frame blasted and rust proofed and painted. I payed 6000 for mine, they were asking 9000. One owner cop that drove boy scouts in the warm months. Nice rig.

It looks like they dumped a bottle of jerry curl in the engine bay. And sh#%$, mine is better than that. I bought it with 130,000 miles, and I paid $5,000.

Nice truck though. Definately not worth that much for the miles, but honestly I would rather pay more for a good quality truck than skimp and get rust.

Who's bidding???

Much as I dig your blue beast, John, I doubt you could get $14Kish for it. See, here's the thing. Yours is ultra clean but still has some mods, so it's not bone stock, but at the same time, it's not syper heavily modified. You'd probably do better taking most of the stuff you added to it off, then selling the stuff separate and really focusing on the cleanliness, originality and near-stock condition of it.

Personally, I'd rather buy an FJ60 like yours than an FZJ80 in similar conditions. Not debating the features or intrinsec value, just going by personal preference.

In fact, I might be in the market for a super clean FJ62 to daily drive by the end of the year, and I am going to look and look until I find the perfect companion to my modified and tired beast. Going for the "Jeckyl and Hyde" thing! :)

Exiled,
I think that LandPimp could get a good hunk of change for his vehicle but probably from someone on this list that would appreciate the mods he has done. Alot cheaper to buy a prebuilt rig like his than trying to add all the stuff yourself. Now if he decided to sell through eBay to the masses, then I agree that he would be better off selling his mods of the truck first. Just my 0.02

John...Let me know when you decide to sell.

Not planing on selling.

But I intentionaly left it so it could be returned to stock, ie I didn't cut nuttin up and keep all the stock stuff. Also in a odd sorta way I still consider my 60 stock......or at least the way it should have been stock. I have never wheeled this 60......it was bone stock and I added what I wanted to make it a better all around rig, trust me the 60 I buiilt is SO much better than it was stock.

forgot to mention I swaped in 4.10 gears.

Actaully I bet 14k is not out of line and I bet I could sell it for that without alot of effort, when is the last time you saw a 100,000 mile rust free late fj60 with the right mods that let you drive it daily or take it out and wheel it? its trully a duel purpose rig and is as good or better then new.

again not selling it, I built it the way i wanted for my enjoyment..........I will be adding a H55F.......just cause it SHOULD have had one when new.

I know you could get that. I hope to do the same for mine. I like wheeling, but I can't wheel my daily driver. I add mods for fun; nothing else. I love upgrading and making the vehicle what it was "supposed to be."

Now, don't get me wrong, I'll wheel a light to moderate trail, but I don't want any damage or I'll be selling on e-bay for $8,000 with my professionally detailed crap cruiser.
