Hello! I was guided to this post from a random stranger on Reddit’s 1st gen sub. I just so happen to have what I would consider a pretty darn clean, relatively unmolested or needlessly customized 1987 4runner, and just so happen to be in New York. Sorry @NYIronPig just seeing this now, I am almost complete my 1985 SR5 full nut bolt restoration 151k miles 5 speed

It’s going for final polish and decal install then it’s complete.

Everything new, serviced and/or repainted, thousands of bolts/nuts replaced through the process.

$30k usd , I do have a massive photos album showing the extensive detail of the restoration.

Just picked up this super clean, 2 owner, 100% California 1987 SR5. The Pornstar Red mint interior was just too good to pass up! Just ordered new rear OEM like leaf springs to get the ride height right again, OEM Shackles & bushings and some Bilstein shocks all around to get it ready to enjoy once it arrives from Cali.
