For Sale is my 1974 FJ40 Toyota LandCruiser. Cruiser came from central Idaho 2 years ago from a gentleman who was in my Father in Laws wooden boat club. The motor had been converted to a strong running Chevy 283. The transmission is the original stock 4 speed transmission. Disc Brakes up front. Power Steering. All lights, signals, and switches work as they should. I have Plasti-Dipped the wheels black. I have the original jump seat frames, the original spare tire carrier, an auxiliary fuel tank for which wiring is already in place. I removed the spare tank to clean. The previous owner from Idaho did some work to repair what he said were small spots of rust in the back corners. Upon a pretty detailed inspection I believe he did a good job and there appears to be no more rust anywhere. Rock slider guards installed under the side doors. This Cruiser will go anywhere and back no problem. I wouldn’t hesitate driving it anywhere. Tons of compliments everywhere it goes. No Smog needed. Truly a classic.

Since I have owned the Cruiser I have performed the following and have receipts for all the work:

-New Eddlebrock Carburetor

-New Eddlebrock performance intake manifold

-5 new BFG AT’s.

-New Heavy Duty 4wheel Parts Winch Bumper

-New Heavy Duty 4 wheel Parts Rear Bumper with swing away spare tire carrier and cooler or gas can tray

-Matching rear foldable and stowable bench seat from a YJ.

-Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit from JT outfitters

-Power Steering Conversion kit from JT outfitters

-New Fuses and cleaned fuse panel

-New Fuel Pump

-Theft prevention mechanism

-New Battery

Price is $16,000. Selling due to baby number 3 on the way. Mike@760-840-1063 for more info.

Very nice. What's the mileage on the engine conversion and the rig overall?

Not sure exact mileage on motor. Compression is strong. Runs strong. Sounds strong. The PO said he thought it had about 20k on it when it was put in. I have no way to verify that though. The odometer shows 64K and I believe that to be original. Let me know if you have any further questions.
