CLCC Monthly Meeting Schedule

We're still here!


Just so everyone knows, the Capital Land Cruiser Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 at Jack Taylor Toyota on Rt. 1 (Jeff Davis Hwy) in Alexandria.

Everyone is welcome. Just go to the back of the showroom, walk up the stairs, and go to the conference room to the right.

The usual routine is to do meeting stuff for 30 minutes or so and then head across the street to Hops for and food.

Unfortunalty this semester I can't do wednesdays anymore on a regular basis. I might be able to make a meeting or two if I'm lucky. Just keep me posted on what is going on.

Is the logo going to be discussed? I am considering popping in if it is, so I can hear first hand some of the members ideas for the logo.

My plan is to bring printouts of the different logo ideas and try to get a concensus on a basic style. Version a vs. b vs c, etc. Then, if we can get a clear idea of what we want, I was going to come back to you with that direction for fine tuning that one idea, instead of having you continue working on several. But if you want to come to the meeting, that would be great, too!

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 7th, a week from tomorrow.

I showed up at Jack's today, somehow I got things mixed up in my head. I originally mistakenly remembered it to be the first Thursday of every month (tommorrow) but when I realised it was Wednesday, I then forgot that today wasn't May yet!!

So I was standing today in front of Jack Taylor's, muddy after a day of work (Hey, I'm a surveyor, that used to mean something y'know....) and slightly excited that I was there before anybody else, but soon that excitement turned to something else.

Oh well, I felt like a dumbass but at least it means that we're still having a meeting, not that nobody showed up.
