I ride to work pretty much every f-ing day. And today, in Chicago we got nailed with some snow. Was a very pleasant ride home passing cars stopped in traffic!

Was a bit slick but I did not wipe....did double my best time and then some for my brief 4.1 mile ride.

Anyone else a daily rider?

I have been doing this for years. Here in calgary we have about 18" of snow. The limit for cold for me has moved up over the years. Right now it sits at -20*C. If you ride much colder than that, bike parts start breaking.

man you guys are hard core.... I would not drive in the city at night with them, CARS and in Winter .....props to the two of yah...

Knorrena,

How do you keep your hands warm and still retain enough dexterity to ride? I have these:

Pearl Izumi AmFIB Lobster Gloves - Adult at REI.com

...and they do okay, but when it's windy and well below zero (Celsius) my fingers will get cold. Plus, they are really big in the thumb area. I'm trying to split between keeping my hands warm and still being able to index shift and cover the brake levers.

Thanks man...and I love your Avitar pic!
