My apologies if this post is in the wrong forum. I'm still getting to know the site and don't see a "General" section, etc.

Some may find this story amusing. I was driving through a suburb of San Diego at night recently and was ambushed by a group of young-adult humans with eggs.

I kind of chuckled, thinking there was no way the eggs would cause impact damage. Just a bit of cleanup needed. But, one of them broke the clearance light and some other small dings were left!

This seems to be a prank or criminal attempt. There is a debate on egg on wipers block the driver's view and criminals use it to stop vehicles.

It's an annoying species common to the area. Likes to ride electric bikes all over, etc.

MIght want to wash the pain ASAP as I heard it can fade the paint.

I washed it off within 10 minutes or so. Waiting for a new light to arrive in the mail...

If I knew they broke the light I might have ended up like the chase-guy in that story. They ran off through a baseball field. I think I could have got at least one of them.

Eggs went up in price at least 100% in the last year. Aren't rocks cheaper? Sometimes I wonder if this young generation has brains.
