I'm planning to buy a 62 4.2 turbodiesel here in Italy, and you have so many info useful for me.
Never had a land cruiser, I have two old hilux 2.4 d extracab of 1990 and a 2003 L200 2.t td.
I live in the alps mountain and work in the wood as lumberjack, actually I do some offroading but just to arrive to work place sometimes. My cars are all stock. Not experience in really hard condition.
I would a 62 for put a tend and travel, planning to do Africa next year, obviously with experienced friends and guides.
