Finally got a long awaited chrome delete. I dabbled with plasti dip and it was good for a while but I could never bring myself to do the grill or window trim. Took it to the same place who has tinted all of my cars and I also got my taillights tinted and threw a little tint on each Lexus symbol. Overall very happy with how it turned out!

So I took it to my local shop. The color is satin black but I’d be lying if I knew the exact product. I headed back there this week to have them fix one thing so I can get the product they use.

How much did this service cost you? I am looking to do something similar.

Looks really good!
Just hope the CHP in your county don't harass you over the tinted tail lights.

I definitely know it's a risk tinting tail lights. I just could not help myself and I have to say it the look is worth the risk (until i get pulled over) hahaha.

With all the modified vehicles I've had over the years and a few that were on the edge of being legal, I've found that things like tinted side windows (I'm talking CA here), tires sticking out too far past fenders, no front license plate (yes, in CA you MUST have a front plate) or other mods are just an excuse for law enforcement to pull you over.
When I was in my teens and early 20's driving over the edge modified cheap vehicles, yeah, I'd get pulled over just for fix-it tickets and to look inside my vehicle to see if I was doing anything else questionable (which I wasn't).
Although you are far less likely to be pulled over with something stylish and looks good, like tinted taillights when driving an upscale vehicle (Lexus, etc), so long as you don't have something all getto'ed out.

Ehhhh. I would rather not give cops ANY reason to pull me over. I run a front license plate even though it is hideous. Too much run-ins with surly cops in my younger years when I was driving beaters.

I may not look the part anymore, but I am still a street urchin on the inside lol

How is the door handle holding up. I tried doing it myself but the corners start to peel on a hot sunny day

Door handles are a pain to do, i did the same thing and mine are far from perfect and a bit peely as well, tempted to just remove them and just paint them black
