Hi all,

So the truck came from CA and it's in high elevation by Colorado now, 7000ft. I started to notice a chirping sound and it's seems to be getting louder.

Once it's warmed up, it goes away. I took a video, but not sure how to upload it, but i tried.

Maybe the belt needs adjustment?

Any feedback helps, ty for your time!

No video.

But if it goes with RPMs, then could very well be the belt. Inspect and replace if any cracks in it or its hardened up - I dont believe there is any 'adjustment' to be made for it.

Could also test the theory with some of that belt dressing stuff, or the like - If it stops the squeak, replace the belt.

Spray water on the belt, if the chirping goes away then replace the belt. If it doesn't, check your pulleys, or the tensioner, if it gets weak the belt will make noises too.

Ok I'll give that a shot ty. Anyway to troubleshoot which pulley?

It completely stops when the truck is warmed up.
