Thought I would put this under its own thread (Might get moved), but it was buried in the spare tire mod thread, this way all you guys can see it.

Chinaman gulch trail near Buena Vista, CO. I think the final count was 38 vehicles including 2 FJ cruisers (FJ Trail Team), and 2 100 series l/c. Very cool to wheel with the FJ's they actually did very well - Lift them and they would be great. 100 did awsome. Other 100 broke a taillight (Green one in pics) Need to find some $ in the budget for that slee bumper. Used the sh** out of the sliders. No body damage and made it over/through all of the obstacles on this trail. Can't wait for CM.

Ben

Enjoy!

Yep, saw these pix. They fawking rule!

You know I'm surprised you still call that place Chinaman's Gulch. Here in ulta PC Canada, we don't do that stuff any more. Why, several years ago a very prominent peak, named Chinamans's Peak was changed to Hung Lo Peak, or something like that, after the Chinaman that first scaled it. It overlooks Canmore, on the edge of Banff NP. Of course most people still call it Chinaman's, but it is nice that the first guy to climb it is finally geting some recognition.

The wheeling looks like it was fun.

Actually a very good point. The modern nomenclature is Asian, not Oriental, like my dad would call it... :D

Maybe you outta call it something about Cream of Sum Yung Guy.... or so...

Man I love that area. Was anyone in Carnage Canyon when you went by?

Our group was so big I don't think anyone really looked to see. There were a few people that popped out in the staging area in some heavily modified rigs. I guess some of our group got home very late (denver). A 60 broke the long side rear axle and they spent the night shagging parts and going back in to replace.

I apoligize that the video towards then end is short but it is 100 megs so kind of hard to upload.
