It didn't sound like it was that cold, no jackets required from what I was able to make out listening to half of a conversation.[/QUOTE]

I meant cool, metaphorically
Big antennae... good!

Well I made it home safe and sound... only passed by 3 forest fires on the way home. One between Tatla lake and Alexis creek came right up to the side of Highway 20 crews where still there tending to the hot spots. Alexis creek looked like a war zone with the number of support vehicle and crews heading in there. There was also another small fire burning south of highway 20 just past Alexis creek. I stopped and talked to a few of the crews on my way throw, it's hard to believe how few people there are assigned to some of these fires... Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and where vary friendly. I didn't get asked to leave once even by the RCMP officer I talked too... go figure... heading into the area from Williams lake looked like it was a different story they had a road block and where checking everyone they they let into the area.

I had a Subaru honking and waving at me on my way home last night. I was finally able to see who the driver was grinning behind his large shades, as I did not know anyone outside of work who drove one.
It was Flycruiser, so that answers that question :)

Who's left up there? Mat, Glenn and Garry for sure... maybe McT. and Darmaduke? I see Robert is back (for at least a week) Drew and Bill are back.

Yeah, me and Gary T are back. It was an outstanding trip, especially into the high alpine regions. Not too technically difficult, but the scenery and environment were out of this world. Flycaster's pics and videos are excellent. Glenn is already thinking about next year's trip in the same area or possibly doing the McKenzie Trail out of Williams Lake.

I have returned, as the last of the bunch I am home now :( . Parted ways with Garry and Glenn in Pemberton and headed for Sloquet to relax for the night, came back this afternoon.
If you want the full story on the entire trip you'll have to wait a couple days for the report, I'll work with Bill on something good for the entire deal.
