chevy motor mismatch?

I bought a 1971 fj40 and the past owner had died before I bought the truck. The motor looks like a 1F but many of the part are GM. I now needed to replace the starter and a toyota Landcruiser starter will not fit.

Is there a GM block that is so close to Toyota that parts interchange?

What kind of motor is it?

Probably a 292 chevy that was swapped in.
