Thats my though process also. I'll check both cabins out the prior week and make a call, worse case we will either drag everyone up or go hang out at deer creek for the afternoon.

Make filthy delicious cheese dish, go wheeling to somewhere out in the woods. Consume all aforementioned cheese dishes. Then regret it for the next three days until ball of cheese exits the system. Usually in spectacular fashion.

Negative, went up Glade creek and skipped the washed out section. It was pretty bad last fall and I have no doubts I wanted to go around it. This week I might do a Wagner trip and see if we can come and down to Wrangle.

I saw where you guys stopped, and it definitely looked like you all gave it a great attempt!

I blame it mostly on stubbornness. Spent over an hour and probably 10 gal of fuel to go less than 2 miles.

OK kids, t minus one week to go. Decided on wrangle shelter since the weather should be excellent. There will most likely be one sketchy section, so make sure you have the ability to air down and have a recovery point front and rear.

With the warm weather the snow is pretty terrible, so be prepared for an adventureful run up and invite anoyone with a taste for heart clogging cheese snack.

Thanks for the great day in the woods guys! Bummer we didn't make it to the shelter, but I'm thinking mid-June we will have to go up there.
