they look good. im not a huge fan of tj flares...as the tend to fade pretty bad.
the sahara editions heeps were the ones that came with painted flares.

Use flex agent in the paint when painting the flares and they will hold up good will still scratch like normal paint. Most body shops do this when painting modern bumper fascia and flairs.

Thanks much for the tip/info.

Hi All:

No, the idea is to avoid getting a ticket from the police or highway patrol! :D

I dont think they look all that bad. The idea is to stop alot of mud from being thrown up on your body, right? The tread plate looks ok too.....

I clamped some TJ Jeep flares on mine after moving the rear diff back 5".

Looked ok from side on.

Hi All:

"Twisty," you don't ever settle for less than, do you?

Yeah, I think I'll have to do some rear flares on the '40 since the 1.5 inch wheel spacers have pushed the tires a bit out of the fenderwells!

You are correct, those Heep TJ flares look terrible, but one can get them "cheap" here in North America. And, "cheap" is important when body damage is a normal occurrence on trail runs. :grinpimp:

Alan
