ok...so my check engine light went on the P0133 code. It is my 1st O2 sensor. With 120K on my odometer..and this being the first O2 sensor to go..i am happy..that is quality toyota! Anyways, How long can i run with this bad sensor..since i am 500 miles from home and i wont be back until Tuesday night..i dont have too many options right now.

Also, can anyone recommend a place to get O2 sensors?

later,
joe

hmm..good idea.
i actually did the 'ghetto style' fix on an old trooper i had a while back. Check engine light came on..garage said it was the O2..so , i went home disconnected the battery for a few hours..reconnected it and no mo check engine light! :D

i see what happens.
but, as plan B..what is the costs on those O2's? arent they like $120 each? ???

C-Dan posted list prices within the past week or two. Do a search if you are interested in the price.

Reset the MIL and drive home... no worries. You don't even have to reset the MIL if you don't mind the darn thing staring at you for 500 miles.
