Cheap tricks to make a 1fz-fe faster? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys...

I have Nissan patrol with a 1fz-fe from an 80/100 series mated with Nissan's original manual transmission. I would like to know if there are ways to tweak this engine to get more power out of it without spending money? Its ecu controlled so I doubt there would be any but still I ask!

Secondly can I find chips for this motor? Aftermarket hi performance parts that would actually make a difference?

How does the Manual bolt up? did you use an adapter plate? custom made?
I think several folks would be interested in hearing about this setup.

You can advance the timing a bit. It won't make enough extra power to notice, maybe 5-10hp.

no seriously though its the only cheap way to make it go faster, just dont think about when you have to go back up the hill.

Maybe a little. It'll help it use the fuel more efficiently.

This should do the trick. It's about the only thing that will make a 1FZE powered vehicle fast.
