Cheap/free way to scan the computer? (1 Viewer)

Hey.
Anyone know of a free or cheap way to get the trouble codes out of a 93 FZJ80?

My check engine light has come on for a few seconds, then switched off.
It's done this a few times in the last couple months.
Don't want to pay $$$ to have the dealer hook it up to their darn computer.
