I've been kind of lax about this lately. Busy work and school have got the best of me.... but I believe that i'm done with all school work pertaining to one degree now. (can't get a hold of my counselor though)


Next saturday 5pm ish...... open to places to have it.
Popular ones in the past have been flying saucers, tilted kilt, Picadelis, bar at the White Water Center.

Post up if your coming or not. I'll be sending out pm's also.
 
Surprisingly my calendar is wide open. I hope we can get a good crowd together.

I'd prefer that we pick something central. My suggestions are: The Penguin and The Burger Company.

Panthers kickoff at 8 pm, so we'll want to keep that in mind.
 
Never heard of either of those two. What is their beer selection like.

There is always olde meck brewery, or the NoDa district.


I'm thinking with location the tilted kilt might be best. I've been trying to do one in the south part of charlotte for a while.

There are about 7 members that I can think of off the top of my head that live close by. Plus I love kilts
 
The penguin may lack on beer but you got fried pickles :D
Cabo Wabo in Noda has a decent beer selection but space is kinda limited.

Solstice in NoDa has a much better beer selection as does Revolution Pizza

Here is another selection. How about Mac's Speedshop? - the location on South Blvd.

Macs is normally packed on a Saturday but I am open to it.
 
jason my friend... you are due for another trip to charlotte. Cabo fish taco accquired the space next door and is now twice the size and now kicks even more ass!

I cant make this get together. I have a triathlon that morning then i am prob gonna hit the Panthers game for at least a quarter or 2.

Al you still have the cruiser?
 
Put me down as a "maybe"...will have kids in tow. And Cabo Fish Taco around lunch time on Saturday gets my vote.
 
Thanks David, I keep checking I have been very bussy with work and other project. Nothing cruiser related :( I think i can make it to this just let me know where. Al is right Mac's will be pack even it is a block from my house.
 
I don't think a lunch time meeting is going to work. I'll be at work and the earliest I can get off is 4.

Cabo is fine with me and we seem to have a few votes going that way already.
 
Traded emails with Cirbo this morning. His '67 FJ45 just arrived and he'd like to join us on Saturday. He said he hasn't even taken the old girl out of his driveway since it arrived and that Tilted Kilt would be much closer to him (for me and Nolan as well) and therefore a safer bet for him making it in one piece.

Any chance we could make it Tilted Kilt on S. Tryon near Carowinds around 5?
 
I swung by Toyota Techs in Fort Mill this afternoon after jury duty and invited Mark and Johnny to join us. I also met a guy in their parking lot with a great looking FJ62 and invited him to join us.
