Tested the grounds today with my multimeter. Everything checked out good. I inspected the main ground to the engine coming from the battery and gave it a good wiggle everything looked good there too.

Started her up today and she was at 14.2V at idle.
13.6V with load

That seems like back to normal to me. Im thinking just fooling around near where that engine ground was may have resolved the issue. I will probably sand that connection just for good measure and I already ordered that missing ground connection from the head to firewall. I will keep yall updated. Im very thankful for everyone who has inputted here.
 
Clean grounds and dielectric on the bolts is the way to go.
