IMO, OE tire carrier can also be thought of as a rear damage multiplier. There is no buffer. The tire carrier is right up against the hatch and tailgate.

Good point. But it's not often that you rear end yourself. . Other insurance problem.

I guess it could end up totaling an otherwise benign crash if it mangled the d-pilar and gate. I can't imaging getting any damage with my BIOR plate bumper. It's a tank.

I "think" it comes both w/ and w/o fridge. We would lose our drop down armrests but I'm okay with that since mine are almost always in the down position anyway.
