I am going to change out the fuel filter on my 92', and I was wondering how to relieve the fuel system pressure. Being as there is no fuel pump relay or fuse, I can't just pull that.
Thanks

Be careful tightening down the banjo bolts. They tend to leak if over tightened. Fsm calls for 21 lbs but it’s best to just tighten it to about 15 and check it it from there. Wix makes a decent filter with copper crush washers

There is a fuel pump relay, but it's called a "circuit opening relay". Driver's side kick panel. Remove the relay when the truck is running and she'll die. Then loosen the fuel fill cap to relieve any pressure in the tank. It will still leak fuel, but not under pressure.
