changing brake booster

Will the booster and master from a 76 fj40 work on a 70 with all drums ? I will be going to disk soon I hope

There's a portioning valve that needs to be removed from the front. Then it will be fine.

nope, the booster from any toyota won't work on a '70 without a booster. I've done this and I had to drill out and open up the hole to let the 4 bolts from the booster and the larger sleave to pass through the firewall. I also had to cut off some of the vertical support on the firewall to give enough room for the booster to mount on the firewall.
