changing belts on a 91 (1 Viewer)

Hi folks, I need to change the belts on a 91 fj80 this week. Are there any tricks to this process? I have changed out the belts on my 93.

my brother just purchased a 91 fj80 with 148k on it. Seems like a fairly decent vehicle. He bought it in washington and imported it here, but it failed the local inspection test for brakes and belts, so we need to replace those before it can be driven. Brakes look easy. Belts I assume are easy but just checking.

use OEM, remember to loosen and then retighten your tensioners..

not too much else to it.

It helps if you do it when the engine is not running.

Then again, if you have an ex handy, maybe running is better. :whoops:
