Change from 92 to 96 interieur (1 Viewer)

Hello,

Right, I have now been offered a complete interieur from an hdj80 year 1996. (leather) I have a 1992 model.

I know there have been some changes between the 92 and 96 model. But stuff like seats and doorpanels, middle console is that going to fit?

Dashboard probably wont fit but its kind of hard to find out? Anyone know what can be exchanged interior wise from the 80 model

The body is the same right? I bet with some work it will all fit. I'm not speaking from experience on the 80, but I've seen porsche dashes put into volkswagens so I'm sure if you really want it in there it'll go. The biggest pain I would think is if you have to swap the hvac ductwork and blower assembly. I think that would suck. Maybe someone else knows for sure, but I THINK it can be done.

Why do you need to do the swap?

The dash wouldn't be an easy swap, but unless you're seat types are different (manual/power) the seats "should" be easily done w/o any drama. I would not think the door panels would have any issues, either, but I have not done any of this, so what do I know?

Nah im not changing the dashboard.

I bought the complete leather interieur (grey) doorpanels etc seats front row. Only thing im still doubting about is the console. He said i could take off anything i want. No need to say that twice.. .

Getting the whole lot next week and ill try to take a quick look this week..since im short on time.

Everything (but the instrument panel) will go in just fine, even the console. I believe even the wiring for the seats is already there. At least it is in US models.

By instrument panel you mean? Standard gauge panel or dashboard complety. If its like that ill swap the carpet back and front aswell.
